How Does Hair Transplant with Hylia Turkey Work?
In Hair Transplantation with Hylia Turkey, the patient's hair is transplanted with micro-surgical methods to the areas that are empty or thinning due to hair loss. The process is planned and implemented entirely individually. In hair transplantation, hair follicles resistant to shedding are collected from the nape of the patient and transplanted into the channels opened in the thinning or completely shedding parts. Rarely if the person does not have enough healthy hair on the back of the head, our expert team can use other hair-containing areas such as the beard, arms, or chest wall.
When you apply for hair transplantation, an evaluation is made considering your expectations. The type of procedure that will best meet your expectations is determined according to the characteristics of your hair loss. A drawing is made to determine where the hair will be collected and planted. The procedure is carried out under local anesthesia. Depending on the size of the area where there is hair loss, Hair Transplantation with Hylia Turkey may take 6-8 hours. For patients with too much hair loss, performing the procedure in a few sessions may be necessary.
What are the Methods of Hair Transplantation?
We operate FUE, Sapphire FUE, and DHI techniques in Hair Transplantation with Hylia Turkey.
FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction)
It is also known as the picking or plucking technique. Hair follicle groups are collected one by one using a special tool from the area where the hair will be taken (donor area) and transplanted into balding areas. FUE is considered the gold standard of hair transplant surgery. Micromotors with a diameter of 0.6-0.8 mm are used in this technique to collect hair follicles. The extracted hair follicles are kept in unique solutions, the channels are opened in the bald area, and sowing is done. Thanks to micro-instruments, the tissues heal much faster, leaving no scars in the donor area.
Sapphire FUE
It is a new version of the classic FUE technique. Sapphire blades made from a precious stone are used instead of the steel blades used in classical FUE. These knives are sharper and smoother than steel ones, and their lifespan is longer. This way, hair follicles can be collected by creating micro-channels with smaller incisions in the donor area. The procedure time is shortened as it facilitates the surgeon's operation. In addition, since sapphire blades have anti-microbial properties, the risk of infection is lower. The transplanted follicles quickly adapt to their new places, with minor tissue damage. Thus, intenser and more hair grows in the transplanted area.
DHI (Direct Hair Implantation)
It is also known as Unshaven Hair Transplantation. Before the procedure, only the donor area is shaved. The area to be transplanted does not need to be shaved. Donor hair follicles are removed using special pens called CHOI PEN and directly transplanted to the bald area without the need to open the channel. Thanks to the CHOI pen, taken hair follicles are loaded into the pen without waiting in the solution, and the planting is carried out immediately. This increases the survival rate of hair follicles and, therefore, the success of hair transplantation. It provides more natural and high-intensity results. Thanks to the CHOI pen, each transplanted hair follicle can be placed at the right angle and at the proper depth. Thus, we can achieve a more natural hairline and appearance.
Since placing the curly hair follicles in the CHOI pen is impossible, the DHI method cannot be applied to people with curly hair.
